The Missing Ones by Patricia Gibney

We are half way there y’all and this book helped my week move faster with the gripping tale of a small town, numerous murders and secrets hidden the walls of an old town building.  Patricia Gibney’s debut novel has a little bit of it all. In The Missing Ones, lead detective Lottie Parker is dealing with inner demons as she tries to solve the murders of two people in her community.  These two murders becomes four in less than a few weeks and she becomes fearful that there is a serial killer among the citizens in the area.  As the evidence begins to play out, one particular building keeps coming up in each victims back ground, St. Angels’s a building that once housed a school for misguided children ran by the Catholic church. This book will take you on a ride and leave you breathless as the events unfold.  If you are looking for a good murder/detective book, pick up a copy of The Missing Ones today.

Note: This book is 1 in a series and the 2nd book is out so keep up the journey with detective Lottie and read The Stolen Girls next.

My next book is Ruth Ware’s new book The Lying Game. Then it will be back to Patrica’s series.
